Seven months pregnant with my second child, dresses and sneakers became a daily wardrobe staple when dropping off my 13 month old son at daycare during the hot and rainy summer of 2018.

Over time, dresses and sneakers have come to represent more than just my life. They represent my son and daughter, and my husband and me. This blog is meant to be a place to document our lives in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. through moments big, small, beautiful and hectic.
